Field Hockey to Host 2009 Wildcat Challenge Tournament

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Davidson College Field Hockey will host the 2009 Wildcat Challenge Tournament on Saturday, March 21, which will feature a seven-on-seven round robin tournament for high school athletes.
The round robin tournament for high school players will run from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Players can sign up as a team or as individuals to be assigned to a team. The teams will play with six field players and one goalkeeper. All of the officiated games will last 25 minutes.
The cost for both the clinic and tournament is $180 per team or $25 per individual.
Participants are asked to email Davidson head coach Ginny Sutton at gisutton@davidson.edu or by phone at
(704) 894-2932 by March 16 to sign up. Registration on the day of the event will begin at 12:30 p.m.
