
Thad Sieracki Named SoCon Indoor Track Athlete of the Week

DAVIDSON, N.C. - After recording a third-place finish in the 3,000-meter run at the Carolina Invitational, senior Thad Sieracki was named the Southern Conference Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office today.
Sieracki, who picks up his first career weekly conference honor, tripped the tape in a season-best time of 8:38.30, which is the fifth-fastest time in the SoCon this year.
The Davis, Calif. native becomes the first Davidson student-athlete to win the indoor Athlete of the Week award this season.
Davidson will head down to Clemson, S.C. this weekend to compete in the Tiger Invitational on Feb. 21. It will be the final tune-up for the Wildcats before the SoCon Indoor Championships, which will be held on Feb. 28-Mar. 1 at the same track in Clemson.
