Davidson Field Hockey will Host 2008 Wildcat Challenge Spring Clinic

DAVIDSON, N.C. -- Davidson College Field Hockey will host the 2008 Wildcat Challenge Spring Clinic and Tournament on Sat., March 29, which will feature an open clinic and 7 vs. 7 round robin tournament for high school athletes.
The open clinic, to be run by Davidson's current coaches and players, will run from 3-4:30 p.m. and is open to players of all ages. This event will conclude with a specialty shoot and save session.
Davidson will host a round robin tournament for high school players only from 4:30-7 p.m. Players can sign up as a team or as individuals to be assigned to a team. The teams will play with six field players and one goalkeeper. All of the officiated games will last 20 minutes.
The cost for both the clinic and tournament is $175 per team or $25 per individual. To participate in just the clinic, the cost is $10.
Participants are asked to email Davidson head coach Ginny Sutton at gisutton@davidson.edu or by phone at 704.894.2932 by March 25 to sign up. Registration on the day of the event will begin at 2:30 p.m.
