Maxwell Tabbed NorPac Offensive Player of the Week

DAVIDSON, N.C. — With three goals and an assist in a pair of matches over the weekend, senior forward Kayli Maxwell has been tabbed NorPac Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 11.
Maxwell netted a pair of goals and an assist in the 'Cats 4-1 win over Longwood on Saturday afternoon and scored the team's lone goal in its 8-1 loss to the Stanford Cardinal in a neutral matchup Friday night at Longwood University.
With eight goals this season, Maxwell is tied for the NCAA lead, and she leads the nation in points per game (4.25) and goals per game (2.0).
It is the first honor this season for both Maxwell and the Wildcats. An All-NorPac First Team selection last season, Maxwell was also named the NorPac Offensive Player of the Week for Sept. 26, after scoring a pair of goals to lead the 'Cats to a 4-1 win over Appalachian.
