While at Davidson, Megan majored in Biology, studied abroad in India, was a Bryan Scholar and a member of the Rusk Eating House. Highlights of her remarkable swimming career include being named Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Year in 2003, and Swimmer of the Year and Performer of the Meet during the CAA Championships in 2006. A four-time conference champion, she is the only Wildcat in school history to win at the CAA Championships, and she graduated as the CAA record holder in the 100 breaststroke. Megan became the program's first swimmer to record provisional NCAA Championship qualifying times (100 and 200 breast). She was the school’s record holder in the 100 breast, 200 breast, 200 IM, 100 freestyle and a member of four record-holding relay teams. Megan still ranks among Davidson's all-time Top-10 in three events, including the 100 and 200 breast. After Davidson, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Emory University, and she is now a pediatric physical therapist at Levine Children’s Hospital.
