Mordini recorded 19 double-doubles (kills and digs) in 1999 and posted 31 kills and 23 digs to lead Davidson over Chattanooga in the league championship game. She recorded 645 digs and 559 kills in 2000, both school records at the time, and her digs mark remains the school single-season record. Her 4.96 digs per game in 2000 ranked third in the nation. She earned All-SoCon Tournament and tourney MVP honors in both 1999 and 2000. The Wildcats made NCAA appearances in 1999 and 2000, the only two in school history, and went 90-44 overall and 59-15 in the SoCon during Mordini’s career. In 1999, the ‘Cats posted a 31-4 overall record and a perfect 20-0 league mark. She still ranks in the top-10 at Davidson in career kills, aces and attack percentage, and her 1,872 digs are a school record. She was the Stimson Award winner in 2001.
