DAVIDSON, N.C. – KiShawn Pritchett of nearby Lake Norman High School has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Davidson men's basketball team in 2015-16.
"KiShawn will be a perfect fit for our program and system," said head coach Bob McKillop, who is in his 26th season at the helm of the Wildcats. "He's smart, unselfish and skilled. His versatility and basketball IQ are extraordinary talents. We are very excited that he has chosen Davidson College."
A 6-6, 220 guard from Mooresville, N.C., Pritchett averaged 17.9 points, 8.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.0 blocks and 2.0 steals per game, while leading LNHS to a 28-2 record and berth in the N.C. 4A championship game a year ago.
In addition, Pritchett plays for PSB Select AAU team, which is coached by former Davidson standout Brendan Winters, '06. Current Wildcat freshmen Jordan Watkins and Rusty Reigel also played for the local AAU squad.
Davidson will tip-off the 2014-15 season with a 2 p.m. home contest against Catholic Saturday afternoon.
